This will the second annual Berkeley Bird Festival. It's a big, all-day event, in multiple locations. Birding excursions, music, story-telling, art, building a gourd bird feeder, origami, street chalk art...lots of participation, lots of fun, and it's all free! Many hundreds of people will attend the Bird Festival. To hear Kay, just show up at 2:00 p.m.! There's no pre-registration for this talk. Due to the special circumstances of this event, we will not be able to distribute gift bags to attendees. We will have a table set up in the lobby, where you can chat with us and pick up information about native plant restoration..
Kay's other presentations in the Bay Area will include an informative and inspiring video by Doug Tallamy. That video will not be part of her 20-minute talk. We will be showing it at our info table. And we'll have a list of websites and publications where you can find out more about Tallamy's work.
